Early Childhood Classroom Support Staff

Salary: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-or Full-Time options available

Setting: Child Enrichment Center

Our Child Enrichment Center is looking for a caring, dependable individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Classroom Support Staff. In this role, you’ll work alongside teachers to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children ages 0–5. Whether you’re supporting one classroom or several throughout the day, you’ll play an important part in helping children learn, grow, and thrive.

 

What You Will Do

  • Support teachers with age-appropriate learning activities, play, and daily classroom routines.
  • Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
  • Assist with transitions, meals, rest time, and group activities throughout the day.
  • Promote positive behavior, healthy habits, and developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
  • Adapt to different classrooms and provide support wherever it’s needed most.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and program policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
 
 

What You Will Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with young children is preferred but not required.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting children’s development.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm, patient, and responsive in a busy classroom environment.
  • Dependable attendance and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check and meet health requirements.
