Salary: $18.00 per hour, Full-Time, nonexempt
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (40 hours per week)
What You Will Do
As the Toddler Lead Teacher, you will lead a high-quality, inclusive classroom for children ages 1–2. You’ll plan and implement engaging lessons, support children’s development across all domains, and create a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. You’ll oversee daily classroom operations, guide and support teaching staff, and maintain strong, positive relationships with families through regular communication and conferences.
In this role, you’ll also track developmental progress, implement individualized supports (including PBIS and IEPs), and use data to inform your teaching. You’ll play a key role in maintaining licensing and quality standards, supporting program operations, and contributing to a collaborative, trauma-informed team environment.
What You Will Bring
You are dependable, patient, and passionate about early childhood education. You bring experience working in a preschool or childcare setting and a strong understanding of child development. You’re confident leading a classroom, supporting a team, and building meaningful relationships with children and families.
You are organized, adaptable, and able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment. You communicate clearly, take initiative, and enjoy working as part of a team. You meet one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field with at least 1 year of experience, OR
- Early Childhood Education endorsement with at least 2 years of experience
