Daytime Family Support Staff

Salary: $17.00 – $18.00 DOE, Part-Time, nonexempt (weekend differential pay offered)

Schedule: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Thursday through Saturday (30 hour per week)

OR

7:00 am – 3:00 pm Saturday and Sunday (16 hour per week)

Setting: Residential Youth Maternity Home

Florence Crittenton Family Services is looking for a dedicated Rehabilitation Aide to join our Day Shift team in the Youth Maternity Home! This is your chance to bring positivity, support, and encouragement to mothers and their little ones throughout the day—when growth, learning, and connection are at their fullest.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Assist Mothers and Children: Provide direct support to mothers and their children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during daytime hours.
  • Daytime Activities: Help coordinate and supervise daytime activities for mothers and children, fostering a supportive and positive environment.
  • Routine Support: Assist with morning routines, meals, and any necessary personal care.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete documentation and reporting as needed, ensuring accurate records of care and activities.
  • Crisis Response: Be prepared to handle emergencies or urgent needs that may arise during your shift.
 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Compassionate Care: A genuine desire to help and support mothers and children.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage evening tasks with precision and care.
  • Quick Learner: Capable of adapting to new routines and responsibilities.
  • Positive Attitude: A can-do approach to tackling evening challenges and supporting residents.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or working with youth and families is a plus, but not required! This position does require a valid Driver’s License and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
