While the country is practicing social distancing and shelter in place measures, we wanted to update you on what we are doing at Florence Crittenton to navigate theses unchartered waters.
Florence Crittenton’s leadership team continues to closely monitor the evolving situation with COVID-19. Providing services in a creative manner that allows us to still maintain connection and support to our clients is our #1 priority. We are continuing to take every precaution to do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community, while also protecting our staff and the clients we serve.
The majority of our programs are continuing, many through virtual sessions and visits. We are very relieved that we can continue to have a safe home for the families in our residential programs. Here with us is the best place for them to be, now more than ever. We have taken the necessary precautions to adhere to the shelter in place order from the Montana Governor. This has included restricting visitors to our facilities and limiting contact for in-kind donations. We have also implemented telework for all non-essential staff, while still maintaining daily communications via conference calls and virtual avenues.
The need for parents to have resources for parenting is even more crucial during these unprecedented times of families being confined to their homes. Our Parent As Teachers and Safecare Home Visitors are continuing to reach out to clients via virtual visits.
The COVID-19 pandemic is more than just a health crisis, it has had a ripple effect that has impacted us all. As the world responds to this new threat, many of us are struggling with how to help our communities. We are so grateful to so many that have reached out to ask how they can help. Your support is critical to the continuation of our services. We feel blessed to be able to continue to provide the highest quality care to the young families in our community and, now more than ever, we could not do it without you.
We want to thank you for your continued trust and support of Florence Crittenton during these times of uncertainty. Your compassion in action is changing lives every day.
From our family here at Florence Crittenton, we wish you good health and safety.
