Florence Crittenton thanks the community for record breaking Paint the Town PINK!

Florence Crittenton is delighted to announce a record-breaking Paint the Town PINK! The organization’s annual fundraiser was held on Saturday, February 11th at the Lewis & Clark Fairgrounds and grossed $400,580.

The event, celebrating its 20th year, provided an opportunity to support Florence Crittenton’s life-changing programs for families with young children. Florence Crittenton is a leader in providing trauma-informed care and a wide variety of residential, early childhood and community programs aimed at strengthening families in our community and across Montana.

After 2 years of Covid limitations on large events we were delighted that PINK was back in person. It appears the public was too, with tickets and corporate sponsorships selling out in record time and our auction reaching record numbers!

The event was a spectacular night with incredible decorations, which truly transformed the Fairgrounds into an elegant venue.  Guests enjoyed a gourmet dinner, cocktails, live and silent auctions, raffles, music and dancing with the award-winning Ten Years Gone.  Courageous past clients from Florence Crittenton also shared their stories about the effect the organization has had on their lives.

Carrie Krepps, Executive Director, stated, “We could not be more thrilled with the outcome of the 20th anniversary of PINK. These funds come at a critical time for our organization, where rising costs across all aspects of our work are threatening our ability to serve families that so desperately need the support and services.  This community has once again stepped up, as it has for over a century, to ensure families in our community and across our state receive the services they deserve.”

We would like to especially thank our Presenting Sponsor, Dick Anderson Construction, and Platinum Sponsors Montana Radio Company, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana, Pinion Technology Core and Edge Marketing & Design.

With the exception of one special auction item donation of an Al Swanson rocker that our clients helped produce that will benefit Project Sunshine, proceeds of Paint the Town PINK will support the general operating expenses involved in running Florence Crittenton’s programs.  These include residential treatment programs for mothers and their children, early childhood education and community-based programs.  With an ever-escalating cost of living and increasing demand for Florence Crittenton’s programs, these funds are more crucial than ever.

The funds raised at PINK represent 30% of the agency’s annual fundraising goal.  Fundraising dollars ensure that we can provide exceptional quality programs to all families that may need extra support and care, enable us to maintain our facilities, hire and retain our staff, and continue to grow to serve the needs of our community.
