Florence Crittenton receives grant from the M. J. Murdock Charitable Trust

Florence Crittenton is delighted to announce they have received a $188,000 grant from the M. J. Murdock Charitable Trust.

These funds represent an award received by Florence Crittenton to fund a Director of Operations position, and ancillary related expenses, for three years providing invaluable strength to Florence Crittenton’s infrastructure and operational excellence during such a critical time of growth for the agency.

Florence Crittenton’s Executive Director, Carrie Krepps said, “This is a thrilling grant for our organization to receive. The M.J. Murdock Trust is one of the most well-respected funders in the Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain region. We are honored to be a part of their work and thank the entire program team at Murdock for their support through this process.  This position is critical to Florence Crittenton as we continue to grow in our services and embark on our renovation project of our new campus.  Now more than ever we need to ensure we are running our organization as efficiently as possible and this position will help us achieve just that.”

Florence Crittenton is delighted to have hired local businesswoman Sarah Johnson for this role.  Sarah brings over 10 years of budget and inventory analysis to the agency as well as 12 years of office management experience. She also has worked with youth programs in Helena for over 6 years prioritizing health and nutrition. Sarah is excited to lend her expertise to such a wonderful community-oriented program.
