Florence Crittenton receives accreditation for SafeCare Home Visiting Program.
Florence Crittenton is honored to be part of community collaboration with Lewis and Clark Health Department, and AWARE as part of the Partnership for Home Visiting. We are delighted to announce that we have achieved accreditation in the SafeCare module, further ensuring that the highest quality program standards are adhered, and our clients receive the maximum benefits from the program.
The process to achieve accreditation involves the agency submitting information about their SafeCare home visiting model through online surveys and phone interviews with the National SafeCare Training and Research Center. This process is carried out annually and ensures the agencies alignment with implementation standards.
Florence Crittenton’s home visiting programs enable the organization to provide care to up to 50 families in the community. Programs provide support and education to families with young children through weekly or bi weekly visits. During visits parents learn about child development, home safety, parenting skills, and how to reduce challenging behaviors. Home visitors also assist families in accessing resources in the community. Home Visiting is a critical component in Florence Crittenton’s work empowering families of all ages and backgrounds throughout our community.
Florence Crittenton’s Executive Director, Barbara Burton said, “Florence Crittenton believes in providing the highest quality programming. We are pleased to add the SafeCare accreditation to other accredited programs .”
