Florence Crittenton is delighted to announce that they have been awarded $5,000 from the  Management Steering Council of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana.

On Thursday, January 30th, the Management Steering Council hosted a quarterly meeting for more than 50 BCBSMT leaders in Helena, Montana.  At the start of this meeting, the Management Steering Council presented Florence Crittenton with the $5,000 grant.

The Management Steering Council consists of employees from Blue Cross, Blue Shields parent company, Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC).  HCSC invests in its member communities by partnering with nonprofit organizations that offer sustainable, measurable programs that reach children and their families.  HCSC recognizes that the Florence Crittenton provides a safe environment for pregnant and parenting teens, as well as health and parenting education for young families.

“Florence Crittenton was thrilled to receive this grant from Blue Cross, Blue Shield.  They are a tremendously valued supporter of the home and give so generously through financial contributions and printing services to the home.  It is this type of community support that has kept Florence Crittenton in Helena for over 100 years and enables us to provide programs that change the lives of hundreds of young families in our community every year”,  said Carrie Krepps, Development Director at Florence Crittenton.
