After careful consideration of the ongoing pandemic our community continues to face, Florence Crittenton has made the difficult decision not to host Paint the Town Pink this upcoming February.
Thanks to our incredible community, Paint the Town Pink has become one of Helena’s premiere events. Not only is it a beautiful evening of fine dining and an exciting auction, it is a critical fundraiser for Florence Crittenton that directly supports the programs that benefit the young families that the organization serves.
Having considered current guidelines, Florence Crittenton does not feel able to safely host an in-person event, and we are mindful that requesting donated auction items from our local businesses may be insensitive right now. But fear not! PINK will be back and better than ever once we can safely host on February 12, 2022.
Instead of inviting the community to a live, in person event this year, Florence Crittenton invites those that would normally support PINK to invest in the lives of the families we serve and make a donation. This investment will provide hope, compassion and dignity to the most vulnerable in our community and will provide a chance for families to recover, restore and build thriving and productive lives. Your generosity will also ensure that we can continue amazing events like PINK into the future. Florence Crittenton will be offering many ways in the coming months for the community to be involved and share their love with the families they serve.
Florence Crittenton’s Development Director Heather Greene said, “While we are disappointed that we won’t be able to see you in person this year, we feel that this is the best decision we can make right now. Please know how grateful we are that we’ve been able to continue to provide needed support to our young families, thanks in large part to people like you – thank you! We are looking forward to bringing PINK back bigger and better than ever in 2022!”
Executive Director Carrie Krepps said,: “We are so proud of the work of our staff and so grateful for the continued support of the Helena community during these incredibly challenging times. We are happy to report that all our programs remain open and serving young families from the community and across the state. Funding is more crucial than ever so we can continue to support these families that are fighting every day, even in these trying and uncertain times, to build healthy, thriving lives for their families.”
