Toddler Assistant Teacher

About Us:

In Florence Crittenton’s Child Enrichment Center, we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children from birth to age 5. We are seeking a flexible and dedicated Assistant Teacher to support our Infant classroom, ensuring consistency and quality in our educational programs.

 

What You’ll Do:

Be on the Toddler Classroom Team:

  • Support in the Infant Classroom, adapting to the needs of children aged 1-2.
  • Collaborate with Lead Teacher to implement age-appropriate activities.

Ensure Child Safety:

  • Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being during all activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Provide Individualized Attention:

  • Support children’s individual needs and developmental milestones.
  • Engage with children to promote their learning and development.

Assist with Daily Operations:

  • Help prepare and organize classroom materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the classroom.

 

What You Bring:

  • Experience: Experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting is preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
  • Personal Traits: Patient, nurturing, and flexible with a passion for working with young children.

 

PAY, BENEFITS, and SCHEDULE:

  • $15.75 – $16.50 per hour, DOE.
  • Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm.
