CPR Instructor

We are in immediate need of a volunteer to teach a CPR certification class.  We can arrange the timing to suit your schedule.  If you are qualified and interested in helping us with this specific need, please contact Cheri (extension 222) or Sally (extension 213) immediately.

Mentors

Mentors needed for 5-6 young mothers.  Must be 25 years old, have a stable residence and income for the past six months, and be willing to commit to building a relationship with a Florence Crittenton Home client by spending a minimum of 8 hours per month with her.  Pre-service training is provided periodically.  The next training will be scheduled for later in September.  If you are interested in attending Mentor Training, please contact Cheri to reserve a spot in the training group.

Administrative

Teen Parent Resource Guide Organizer and Distributor.  Volunteer will call distribution locations to assess need for more guides.  Print and fold guides and distribute them around Helena.

Musicians

We are looking for volunteers to teach guitar or piano lessons to the girls.  We have a piano in-house, but are in need of a guitar.  If you are interested, please contact Cheri at 442-6950 ext 222.

Recreation

We are looking for recreation volunteers who can schedule a time to accompany an FCH client to the YMCA to work out, swim, or take a class together.  Florence Crittenton Home has a YMCA membership which will apply to both client and volunteer.

Winter Grounds-Keeping

We would love to have a volunteer come in on snowy mornings to shovel, plow, or snow-blow our parking lot.   Interested?  Call 442-6950, ext 222.
