Pregnant teens’ take on the movie ‘Juno’
If the movie “Juno” reflected the reality of teenage pregnancy, there would be no need for a place like Florence Crittenton Home. We know. We are four teens living at Florence Crittenton Home here in Helena. Three of us, ages 17, 17, and 16, are about 26-weeks along in our pregnancies. One of us is 15 and has a one-year-old son. We are from Great Falls, Helena, Kansas City and Whitefish.

Loving your Baby from the Inside Out: Florence Crittenton Home Receives $3,300 Grant from March of Dimes
To further the March of Dimes mission of improving the health of babies, they have generously granted Florence Crittenton Home with $3,300 for the non-profit’s new and unique Loving your Baby from the Inside Out classes and therapy. Loving your Baby from the Inside Out increases pregnancy care for hard to reach highly at-risk teen mothers who have multiple pregnancy risk factors including tobacco, alcohol use, homelessness, poverty, past abuse and neglect.

The top 25 Florence Crittenton Home Shootout participants put their skills to the test during Sunday afternoon’s championship shootout. The shootout, an important summer fundraiser for Florence Crittenton, was held Friday, Saturday and Sunday at all three Helena courses—Bill Roberts, Fox Ridge and Green Meadow. Participants paid $5 for a shot at getting closest to the pin and qualifying for Sunday afternoon’s championship shootout.

The girls, babies, staff, volunteers and donors of the Florence Crittenton Home held a Grand Garden Opening this Friday. The garden has been made possible thanks to direction from Florence Crittenton’s Jane Bucks and the outstanding enthusiasm and 2 AmeriCorps*VISTA volunteers, Kathryn Hutchinson of AERO and Rachel Conn of WEEL who help coordinate neighborhood gardens in Helena.

Florence Crittenton is Tickled Pink - over $126,000 raised!
Last Saturday night the Florence Crittenton Home hosted their annual Paint the Town Pink gala dinner at the Great Northern Hotel. Over 350 people attended the 5th annual fundraiser and were entertained in a spectacular setting illuminating the theme ‘Fire and Ice’. There was gourmet food, incredible auction items and dancing to music by the Carousel band.

Burton will focus her efforts on establishing the Home as the number one provider of residential and outreach services for young women and their children both statewide and on a national scale.

Annual Shamrock Luncheon March 17 th To Benefit the Florence Crittenton Onsite Nursery
The 41st Annual Shamrock Luncheon for Florence Crittenton Home and Services will be March 17, from 11:00 to 1:00 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1700 Missoula Avenue . The luncheon features homemade salads, breads, special music from Irish tenor, Bill Platenberg, First Lutheran Kindergarten class, and Anne Wolfinger, Celtic Harpist. For six years, American Federal Savings Bank has partnered with the Florence Crittenton Home and volunteered to organize the luncheon which benefits the Home's onsite nursery.
